Flip Flops and Sunshine
Whether you’re kicking off your shoes or slipping on sandals, may this be a season of lighter steps and brighter spirits.
With the school year wrapped and the first days of summer settling in, let’s take a deep breath—and maybe even a barefoot walk in the grass. Walk Barefoot
Grounding, or walking barefoot on grass or sand, can reduce stress and help regulate your nervous system. If it's safe and accessible, try a few minutes of barefoot time each day—it's simple and surprisingly soothing.
The science behind this is fascinating: our feet have thousands of nerve endings that connect to different parts of our body. Studies have shown this process, known as "earthing," may improve sleep quality and decrease cortisol levels.
