Black History Month or African American History Month is meant to recognize and celebrate the achievements of African Americans and their important role in United States History. If you work in an educational setting you've noticed that the term critical race theory has been in the headlines. I think it is important to remember that teaching history is not critical race theory. The video below explains what critical race theory is.
