First off, here is the story of my pontoon group ownership adventure. You might need a little background information.

Today we gave our vessel a good wash and then dropped it in the water at the downtown launch. With smiles on our faces, we turned the key...

Nothing.

With the boat in the water, it was apparent that some problem-solving was necessary. We went to pick up two spare batteries hoping that one of them would work. The first one did not.

The second one did.

We cruised around for about an hour while the battery charged up. We talked. We laughed. We told the same stories over and over again.

Even though the boat and slip costs sometimes feel like a money pit, when No Teacher Left Behind is on the move we have absolutely no regrets.

Bring on the summer.
